Announcing the 2020 – 2021 AIGA DC Design Continuum Fund Recipients

We are proud that even in a pandemic can award seven students from underrepresented backgrounds with a 2020-21 AIGA DC Design Continuum Fund Scholarship. It is a privilege to support these emerging talents and we are excited to share their goals and aspirations with you.

Our new recipients for 2020-21:

Matthew Alexander

Graduate student pursuing a M.S. in Human-Computer Interaction at the University of Maryland, College Park.

Francine Lubin

Illustration major and the first recipient to be selected from Howard University. 

Ogonna Ononye

Graduate student at MICA pursuing a M.A. in Graphic Design.

Sydney Walsh

Student at the Corcoran pursuing a B.F.A. in Photography. 

Beverly Price

Graduate student at MICA pursuing a M.F.A. in Photography & Electronic Media.

We are also excited to award another year of financial assistance to two returning recipients from our 2019 class:

Jasmine Crisotomo 

Studio Art/Graphic Design Student at University of Maryland, College Park.

Amuri Morris 

Illustration student at Virginia Commonwealth University.
