Kayhla Waters is a senior user experience designer who builds user-first systems and processes for organizations. With nearly a decade in GovTech, she specializes in creating ethical, inclusive, and user-driven solutions. She holds an MSc in Digital Media Design and a BS in Computer Science and Digital Media, grounding her work in human-centered design and real-world implementation. Kayhla has led end-to-end solutions on cross-functional teams, wearing many hats along the way. Her work spans uncovering insights, crafting solutions, fostering collaboration with developers, and seeing projects through to implementation. Outside of work, she enjoys trying new local restaurants and supporting small businesses through her company, KayC Media.
