Women in Exhibit Design: Studio Tour & Creative Lunch

Studio Aorta is a small, woman- and minority-owned design studio specializing in exhibition design. This creative lunch will be a conversation on the field of exhibit design and the challenges of being a small, minority and woman-owned design studio. We’ll also take a tour of Home/Brewed, an exhibit project focused on local DC history and knowledge through the lens of Chr. Heurich Brewing Co., at the Heurich House Museum led by Rina Alfonso, RGD, founder and creative director of Studio Aorta.

This event was put together in partnership with Studio Aorta.

About DC Design Week

Built and run by 100% volunteer power, DC Design Week is an annual celebration of our community — hosted by AIGA DC. Ten percent of all revenue from DCDW events and all profit this year go toward the Design Continuum Fund (DCF) scholarship fund.
