Since its inception in 1973, the Office of Exhibits Central (OEC) has been the Smithsonian Institution’s largest and most comprehensive exhibit producer. Experienced in permanent installations as well as traveling and temporary exhibitions, our staff provides Smithsonian clients with high-quality products and specialized services. From the big-name museums to the smaller collections-based bureaus, the OEC does it all—design, edit, print, model, mount, build and more!
