Salon: Behind the Scenes with Gail Anderson

*THIS EVENT IS AT CAPACITY* Ever wonder what it’s like to design for Rolling Stone magazine? What about designing for the theater or for academia? Now’s your time to find out.

Grab some tea and join Gail Anderson, a 2004 AIGA Medalist, for an intimate conversation, where she’ll talk about her creative process and share behind-the-scenes stories about her most well-known pieces.

Please plan to arrive at Teaism around 7:30 a.m. to allow time to purchase breakfast refreshments and network with other members. The salon begins promptly at 8:00 a.m.

AIGA DC salons are free, intimate roundtable discussions open to AIGA members only. Want to enjoy this member benefit? Check out AIGA’s new membership structure and join today.

Because Gail Anderson has spent much of her life empowering the next generation of designers, all proceeds from his presentation will benefit AIGA DC Design Continuum Fund, a scholarship program that provides financial assistance and mentoring to talented local students pursuing art and design education. Applications for the 2018-2019 scholarships are due in May 2018.
