Print Your Heart Out: A DIY Valentine’s RISO Printing Workshop

This Valentine’s Day, ditch the corporate cards and join us for a hands-on risograph printing workshop in partnership with the George Mason University School of Art. Design and print your own DIY valentines—materials and instruction provided. No experience necessary—just show up and make something!

Using risograph printing, a vibrant, stencil-based process known for its rich inks and imperfect charm, you’ll create handmade love notes that are truly one-of-a-kind. Whether you’re new to RISO or just looking for a more thoughtful way to celebrate, this is your chance to slow down, make something real, and learn a fresh technique.

Led by Ana Farnham and Michael McDermott, this event is made possible in partnership with the George Mason University School of Art.
