Design, Diaspora, and the Fight for Food Justice

Design, Diaspora, and the Fight for Food Justice" creates a safe space for honest conversations about how design influences food justice and cultural food practices within immigrant communities. This salon-style event encourages direct engagement between speakers and participants in an intimate setting that promotes open dialogue.
This event brings together DMV creatives to discuss how creative work can address food challenges within immigrant communities. Led by Ambica Prakash (Eighty-Two Degrees) and Yi-jo Shen (Radio Free Asia), participants will engage in conversations about cultural perspectives on food access and security.
