This year’s Design Week theme, ‘Stories Within,’ celebrates, amplifies and encourages design’s impact on the stories we tell – and Dupont Underground is the perfect partner to kick off a week of multidisciplinary connection and creativity ahead of their Art All Night experience the following day.

Doors open at 5:00 pm with Opening Remarks by Mayor Muriel Bowser at 6:00 pm. From there, head on an exclusive tours of the Dupont Underground tunnels, which were once a trolly station.

Expect art celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month, hydration stations from Topo Chico, a full bar, and vibes from Tyra the Zombie.

Dupont Underground is an arts organization transforming 15,000 sqft of open abandoned space under Dupont Circle into a platform for creative exchange and contemporary arts in our vibrant city.

Design Contiuum Fund

AIGA DC runs the Design Continuum Fund Scholarship, which provides scholarships for underrepresented and economically disadvantaged students who are studying art and design disciplines in colleges and universities in the DC, Maryland and Virginia area.
