Join AIGA DC for a series of DC Design Week lunches as we open the doors to some of the DC area’s creative studios. Huge DC’s creative lunch will explore how a New York-based agency launched a new office in an underserved, yet burgeoning market, while facing the same challenges all other DC agencies face: proving our design chops are second to none when competing with big city agencies. We’ll also dive into how Huge’s start-up culture and underdog spirit shapes our work and the communities we’re serving. Join us as we work together to elevate the design community in Washington, D.C. into a formidable “Design District”.

HUGE provides user-centric design, technology, and marketing services to help companies and organizations drive economic performance and become leaders in the digital economy. The agency is known for helping companies modernize their operations and transform their brands, employing agile design methods and technology services to respond to rapidly-changing consumer behavior. Huge DC operates as part of a family of Huge offices in the United States, Europe, and Latin America, which together constitute a global collective of leading digital designers, strategists and creative technologists.

Lunch will be provided. Registration is $10, limited to 20 attendees and will close at noon on October 14.

What is DCDW?

From October 14th to 20th, DC Design Week 2013 is a week-long series of events that highlight and celebrate the impact of design and designers in our community and recognize the efforts and contributions of emerging and established local designers, architects, illutrators, photographers and others in the Washington DC area's creative collective. AIGA DC coordinates it with various partners and sponsors, but we count on you to attend and participate.

View more DCDW events and find out how to volunteer on the DC Design Week page.

Use the #DCDW hashtag to stay involved.
