[POSTPONED] Intro to Figma

***UPDATE***

In light of growing concerns for public health and safety, we have postponed Intro to Figma.

We’re incredibly disappointed to have to do this — we are committed to creating the time and space for learning about design with our community — but we also need everyone to stay healthy.

We’re hoping to reschedule this event and are working with Isaac to find a time and location. In the meantime, all tickets will be refunded in full. Current attendees will receive an email update when a new date has been set, and will have early access to registration.

Your health and safety is our priority. We thank you for your patience and understanding.

Best,

AIGA DC Board of Directors

Figma is a collaborative, web-based tool for interface design and prototyping. It’s used by teams at Twitter, Square, and IBM to create scalable design systems across organizations. We’re thrilled to host a hands-on Introduction to Figma workshop with designer, writer, educator, and typography enthusiast Issac Gertman.

You’ll get familiar with the tools and interaction capabilities, understand the range of UI kits and assets, and learn about creating design systems.

This workshop is designed for those with little or no prior experience using Figma. Some experience with designing for web is preferred for this workshop.

Please note: Attendees must bring their own laptops and set up a free Figma account.

This event is sponsored by Flatiron School. Check out their $0 Fellowship Opportunity if you're interested in learning Data Science.
