Summer is coming to an end, and AIGA DC kicks off the new programming year with a Schmoozeday unlike any other. No need to Guess Who will be there: meet the members of the AIGA DC board at the Board Room. Unlike most D.C. board rooms, this one boasts barstools, board games, and 20 drinks on tap. Challenge a friend or a total stranger to a game of Battleship, Hungry Hungry Hippos, Taboo or Trouble. (Note: Cheaters will be forcibly removed from the premises.)

We’ll cover the first few games and a few slices of pizza. But feel free to bring your own games and food, too. The Board Room has no kitchen, but they’ve got plenty of menus from neighboring restaurants, bars, and markets, so you’re welcome to order some chow and have it delivered to your table.

As always, our happy hours are free and open to members and non-members alike. It’s a great way to network, find out about upcoming events, and schmooze, schmooze, schmooze. So mark your calendar, get those business cards ready, and come play!
