Who’s got the final say?

Antionette Carroll

Antionette is the founder and executive director of Creative Reaction Lab, a social impact design collaborative whose mission is to challenge global issues through creative problem solving. Throughout her career, Antionette has worked for non-profits working for social justice, human rights, and diversity and inclusion. These experiences led to her background as a social entrepreneur, non-profit leader, and design activist. Antionette’s personal mission in life is to CHALLENGE standards, make CHANGE, and CHAMPION approaches resulting in foundational and community impact.

Also, Antionette is an active community volunteer. Antionette was named the Chair of the Diversity and Inclusion Task Force of AIGA: The Professional Association of Design in 2014. At the local level, she is currently serving as the Incoming President. Antionette also sits on several awards and programming committees for local and national non-profits.

Claudia de Almeida

Claudia de Almeida is an award winning Art Director, typography instructor, AIGA SF Education co-chair and a lover of all things related to letterforms. Claudia grew up in the south of Brazil and moved to the USA to attend college. She has BFA in Graphic Design from the School of Visual Arts in New York City where she has also taught.

Claudia worked for nearly 10 years as a designer and Art Director in New York before moving to San Francisco in 2013 to serve as Design Director at WIRED. She has worked for The New York Times, T: The New York Times Style Magazine, Blender, More Magazine, New York Magazine, Domino Special Editions, Gourmet Special Editions and Men’s Health.

In 2012, Claudia redesigned Real Simple Magazine, marking the beginning of her design studio with WIRED pal Margaret Swart. Now, Claudia spends her time doing projects she loves, between San Francisco, New York, Seattle and anywhere great projects take her.

Lara Wyckoff

Lara spent the early years of her career focused exclusively on digital, then spent the next several years building out brands from logo development to print, digital and full-scale global campaigns. Her clients have ranged from complex and technical to fast-paced consumer brands: American Standard, Baxter International, Cargill, eTrade, Hospira, OptumHealth, L.L. Bean, and Lincoln Financial Group.

She has also grown the brands of the agencies where she worked — as Executive Creative Director for Lee Branding and Risdall Marketing Group, and as VP Digital Creative Director for Martin|Williams. Her work has earned recognition from The One Show, CommArts, Healthcare Clios, and WebAwards.
